From the acclaimed Forchini Family, this is a wonderful and unique vineyard planted in 1906. This vineyard is located southeast of Healdsburg on Limerick Lane, two miles east of Matrix Winery. It produces luscious red fruit, with the most wonderful drawn out finish. It is our most elegant and sophisticated Zinfandel.

At first sip, you'll experience a mouthful of black and red fruit with notes of cassis and vanilla. The smooth, lingering finish features hints of caramel with soft, light tannins. Enjoy now or cellar 3-5 years for additional development.

We source this fruit from Ron Conte, his vineyard is just over the line in Chalk Hill, just east of Matrix. This is our only Chalk Hill Zinfandel that we produce.

This wine is bursting with flavour of blackberry and plum, finsihed up lovely cardomon and allspice. It is not too big and overpowering, still with elegance and sophistication that Matrix wines are known for.
